Outsource Article Writing – How to Make Outsourcing Work For You

By Sean R Mize

If this is the first time to outsource your writing needs, you will need to keep some things in mind to make the whole thing well-guided and to make sure that you’ll get the most out of it:

1. First, keep in mind that not all ghostwriters are perfect fit for your writing needs. So, it’s a must that you screen every applicant very well. Interview them and verify their skills. Ask them to do sample articles for you. Don’t swipe your credit card unless you find that person who understand your needs and who have the capabilities to address them.

2. Be willing to pay more. Sure, there are ghostwriters out there who are charging $1-$2/article. But as they say, you’ll usually get what you pay for. If you want nice articles that will capture the hearts of online users and search engines, you’ve to go pay more to get the best ghostwriters in the World Wide Web.

3. Get involved. The common misconception about outsourcing is that buyers need not to do anything and they’ll get the exact articles they need. You see, if you want this to happen, you’ve got to guide your ghostwriters. Tell them exactly what you want and exactly what you don’t need. Give them detailed project description and encourage them to ask questions.

4. Treat your ghostwriters right. Here’s the truth; great, reliable ghostwriters are hard to find. When you do, make sure that you treat them right. You treat them like slaves and they’ll hesitate to work with you again in the future. You don’t want that to happen as you’ll surely need more articles to grow your ebusiness.

  1. Thomas Shay says:

Outsourcing is very powerful, but when starting out take it slow.  Give them small test jobs and if they do good, then hire them for more important jobs.  Always go through a company like Rent A Coder or Elance.
