Got a new idea or thought? Well, then this is how you make it real! Say you want to be a writer/artist and you were a Case Manager for the homeless population. Hone in on all your skills-art, mental health issues, with a burning aspiration to succeed. Convince yourself that failure is not an option. Separate yourself from negative thoughts and non-supportive persons.
Think yourself a writer, artist, whatever by presenting yourself to the community you live in, but do not count on old contacts. Christ, himself, was not able to perform miracles in His own town of Nazareth (due to their disbelief). The people who knew you in your old career will disbelieve you and think you incapable of what you want to accomplish in your new career direction. Again Christ said that it is foolish to put new wine in old bottles lest they break. This can mean in this instance using old ways of doing things into your new way of thinking. Make new contacts in every facet of your skills to establish the new you!
The most lucrative and avant-garde to market your new found talents in the products you make is the Internet. My advice to you is to get a mentor or someone who knows the strings to play to make the Internet Market sing! You do not want to sing just any song though-you need to sing your very special song or niche!
Once you have established what niche that you have an ardent passion to master, start writing articles, like this one to generate traffic to your website. Without this pathway traffic you may as well sell lemonade at the road stand to market your product! Although, if that road you are selling at is popular that may not be such a bad marketing idea! The point is that you will get more traffic or better word out through the Marketing Internet.
What you need to realize as you are just getting your feet wet is that there are sharks in the water that will disguise themselves as article writing websites. When in reality they are Guru Sharks who want only to make a quick buck at your expense by pirating your name and information to their precious, money-making lists!
A tip to beware is that before you submit an article to anyone other than EzineArticles.com check out all the buttons first. See if the contact one (in particular) works. If it does not, that is a sure way of knowing that site is a pirate and stay clear Mattie!
