Learning the Basics of RSS

What is RSS?
You probably have seen this three-letter acronym in the course of your internet surfing. RSS stands for
Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary; syndicating means republishing an article that comes from another source such as a website.
An RSS is a means of publicizing updates about websites. It may or may not include a summary and photos of the latest posting. But those that provide summaries (thus Rich Site Summary) allow users to skim through the article so that they could decide later on if they want to access the website source. The RSS feed usually contains the title of the update
originating from the website. It is also usually the link to the website source.
What are the benefits of RSS? RSS gives benefits to both readers (users) and web publishers.
1. It gives you the latest updates.
Whether it is about the weather, new music, software upgrade, local news, or a new posting from a rarely-updates site learn about the latest as soon as it comes out.
2. It saves on surfing time.
Since an RSS feed provides a summary of the related article, it saves the user’s time by helping s/he decide on which items to prioritize when reading or browsing the net.
3. It gives the power of subscription to the user.
Users are given a free-hand on which websites to subscribe in their RSS aggregators which they can change at any time they decide differently.

Stop the Internet Marketing Madness and Make Money Online

Before I get into the meat of this information you need to know and understand that I’m not going to tell you what you want to hear. I’m going to tell you what you need to hear.
Re-read that statement.
This is important because you have been a pawn for the effective copywriter, internet marketer’s and even for the latest and greatest opportunity.
The skillful “guru” knows how to capitalize on your dreams and goals. In fact, they’re so good at it that they’re getting rich off of you.
Bottom-line is that if you continue to chase the flavor of the month you’re never going to be able to build a business that is going to produce any kind of real cash.
The truth is that there isn’t just one “secret” way to make money online. You can skin that cat in a variety of ways. However, no matter what method you ultimately choose you have to follow a proven business implementation process.
Keys to Greater Success:
1. Limit the number of projects you’re working on to one at a time. The more you’re working on the less time you have to spend on each one. Simply focus on the project at hand until it is fully implemented. Then you can move on to the next one.
This is where the “flavor of the month” internet marketing product de-rails you. The offer is made and you jump on the hype, then you’re off to the next project before the last one is completed and you wonder why your not getting the results you wanted.
This absolutely kills any momentum you gain. It’s like a dog chasing its tail.

When you chase every new opportunity, system or tool then you actually get further from your goal of building a profitable business that can allow you to live the life that you want.
Once you identify how you’re going to make money online, then you need to focus by developing a plan of action and simply execute. Your persistence will determine your level of success.
