(Stay away from blogger and other similar solutions because you have no “control” over your site if you go that route) WordPress is open source and free, and a very scalable and robust solution that even the “greenest” newbie can install with ease… and in less time than it takes to watch one half of your favorite day time talk show.
How about traffic? How am I going to get people to read my stuff?
Very simple! There are any number of powerful traffic strategies that are proven to work – from article marketing like I’m doing right now, to social networking strategies, to interacting with other blogs in your niche, to writing press releases, doing on site SEO and much, much more! Getting traffic will happen by “accident” if you do the most important thing when setting up a home based business blog – and that is creating and providing REAL value for your readers, and consistently delivering the “goods” on a day in and day out basis!
